My version of a Monday check-in:
Eating: Yolplait Key Lime Greek yogurt with Kashi Go Lean cereal added in. Avoiding the Panera bagels in the office kitchen. #yay
Listening: 102.7 KIIS-FM, via iheartradio
Thinking about: What to do over my 4-day Memorial Day weekend. Boy is leaning towards plans with friends that do not include me [how do you avoid that awkward separation of me vs. his friends he had with his wife? We’re not blending well. I feel they’re comparing me to her so I shut down and avoid. #relationship911]. Maybe a staycation with an actual itinerary. But what?
Wearing:
Note to self: wearing many trends at once does not amplify your trend factor. Also, you look like a fashion catalog threw up on you.
Trend count: cobalt blue skinny jeans, bright colored nail polish, leopard print, patterned shirt, color blocking all over (ie, nothing matches), and a trendy Internet necklace…total (6).
I feel like if a fashion blogger did this, I would love it. But on me, I think it’s a bit…much. I’m not used to all this excitement and color. I can only look down and let out a little giggle.

I extended casual Friday to Thursday because a) today happens to be my Friday and b) I’m at work until 8PM. If I cannot be in my pj’s at that hour (my preferred attire for 8PM) then casual it is.

With the bestests
After a roast dinner with copious amounts of vino
(so much so that my feet swelled and I could barely squeeze into my heels!)
Waiting for the train to take us into town
Naturally, we switched on our iPods and had a dance-off in an empty station (indie music for them; Britney for me)
